Research and developmental work of pop art artists Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. In the top picture of the sketchbook I have included a self portrait in the style of Andy Warhol.
More work developing the idea of pop art, experimenting with different types of media: card and tissue paper.
I also experimented with various types of typography in my sketchbook. In the top right print I illustrated this with a "Once Upon a Time" font.
Developing my ideas further, inspired by Barbara Kruger and her You are Yourself piece combined with the Through the Looking-Glass theme from my favourite childhood book Alice In Wonderland.

The top photograph shows how I haveexperimented with the colours using a high level of saturation, making the photographs almost like pop art.

This painting is my final piece for the Autobiography unit. It is a self potrait with shattered mirror and pop art painted objects scattered around the bottom right of the composition. By combining these three subjects, my painting shows both realism and pop art as one.
